We attended the handover ceremony of the H2Office complex

2023.03.02.

It was our office that completed the general designing of the first phase of the H2Offices complex, which was Skanska Hungary’s 10th project in Hungary. This project was declared the winner of the category called “The Greenest Project of the Year” at the 2022 Real Estate Awards.

After the ceremony we had the opportunity to tour the building with all the different departments. The tour was attended by a number of co-workers who have been working on the design of this building for many years, as well as colleagues who have just joined our team. The experience was different for everyone, Those who have been working here longer were proud to have the chance to see the building in real life instead of viewing it on a screen. For the new co-workers the experience was inspiring because they will have the opportunity to be involved in similarly high-level projects as this one.
The most important aspect of the H2Offices was the focus on proximity to nature and eco-consciousness. The office building is the mixture of the future-oriented urban infrastructure, innovative solutions, and landscaped community space, a concept that is linked to the area’s heritage.
H2Offices is a building complex that was designed and developed in harmony with the ESG principles, it is futureproof, sustainable, and serves the well-being of those who work here. The building can be defined by energy-efficient lighting, heating and cooling, carbon-based air conditioning, smart water usage, sustainable and flexible design. All of this can be achieved by being in closer harmony with nature.

Model Checking Is Not About Finding Errors

In model-based design, a BIM model is no longer just a 3D representation. A well-structured model contains geometry, information, and discipline-specific relationships in a single source of truth. It drives drawings, quantity take-offs, schedules, equipment lists, technical data deliverables, and serves as the common platform for multidisciplinary coordination.

Innovative Operational Development Based on BIM

We had the opportunity to present at the PropTech Hungary 2026 Conference the operational approach that STUDIO IN-EX has been developing over the past several years. It is a great honour for us that our submission was awarded 2nd place in the Corporate Innovator category.

Challenges in waterproofing design

Our task in this project was to prepare the detailed design documentation for the expansion of a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. A major technical challenge during the design phase was that the development area is located in the floodplain of the Gyöngyös stream.

The Art of Accountability at IN-EX: Transforming Control into Motivation

For us, accountability is not a tool of fear, but one of professional security. When tasks are clear (SMART) and feedback is fact-based and constructive (AID), team members know exactly where they stand, where they excel, and where they still need to grow. This is how accountability becomes an internal, supportive driving force.
