Sustainability in Practice at STUDIO IN-EX

2026.06.05.

On June 5, we celebrate World Environment Day, an annual occasion that highlights the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility. Protecting our environment is not only a global challenge but also a responsibility reflected in the everyday decisions we make and the way we operate as a business.

At STUDIO IN-EX, we are committed to incorporating sustainable practices into our working environment and daily operations. One of the foundations of this commitment is the location of our Budapest office in the Népliget Center Office Complex, a building recognized for its environmentally conscious and energy-efficient solutions. The complex has been awarded the European Commission’s GreenBuilding Partner status and recently achieved the prestigious BREEAM In-Use Excellent certification.

Harnessing the Benefits of Natural Light

We believe that a pleasant workplace not only enhances productivity but also supports sustainability goals. Thanks to the building’s thoughtful design, every workstation has access to natural daylight, reducing the need for artificial lighting during working hours. Operable windows and large green walls throughout the office further contribute to improved air quality and employee well-being.

Smart Solutions for Energy Savings

Energy-efficient lighting, motion sensors in restroom areas, and automated lighting controls in common spaces all help reduce unnecessary energy consumption. In addition, selected office areas utilize smart control systems to optimize heating and cooling performance.

Recycling and Responsible Waste Management

Environmental responsibility is also reflected in our waste management practices. We encourage selective waste collection by providing dedicated recycling facilities for paper and plastic waste, as well as collection points for used batteries. The office building also uses carpeting made from 85% recycled materials, supporting the principles of a circular economy.

Supporting Sustainable Mobility

The location of our office makes it easy for employees to choose environmentally friendly modes of transportation. The Népliget Center is conveniently accessible by metro, tram, and bus, while bicycle storage facilities, changing rooms, and showers are available for those who commute by bike.

World Environment Day serves as an important reminder that sustainability is not a one-time initiative but an ongoing commitment. At STUDIO IN-EX, we believe that conscious decisions and environmentally responsible solutions contribute not only to the protection of our planet but also to the well-being of our community and future generations.
