We participated at a Professional Expo at BME’s Cultural and Professional day
Keeping in touch with the next generation of engineers is of utmost importance to us, this is why we were pleased to be invited by the Event Organizer Committee of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics to participate at a professional Expo within the framework of their Cultural and Professional Day held on November 15th.
The goal of the event was to provide an opportunity for both the students and the representatives of the companies operating in the field to meet in person, so students can find out more information about future job opportunities. For us, it was an excellent opportunity to introduce the services of STUDIO IN-EX Ltd. and our most important projects and to share our experiences with interested students.
Throughout our participation in the event, we aimed to inspire young engineers, support them with our knowledge and provide them with advice. The students were welcomed by BIM Studio leader Zsolt Oláh and Senior structural engineer Ádám Pintér and an exciting professional quiz at STUDIO IN-EX’s desk. Naturally, some practical issues were discussed, especially the main differences between the engineering positions on the design and the construction side. Former BME students were invited to the event as well, who shared their experiences during their first years in the profession and talked about what they would have done differently during their university studies. It was good to hear the focused questions the students raised and how consciously they tired to choose their future jobs. We hope that our visit was able to inspire and guide the next generation of civil engineers with our answers.

Hydro Extrusion’s solutions: heat dissipation
By Hydro's aluminium foundry project presented us with an unusual design challenge. We have strong acoustic requirements to protect the neighbourhood, and that the furnaces generate a lot of heat, which we had to dissipate while minimising noise.
