Mechanical engineering

In addition to traditional building services systems (heating, cooling, ventilation, water supply and drainage, gas supply), our team also designs systems for industrial technologies such as compressed air, nitrogen and vacuum networks. Our aim is to create a virtual BIM model that is suitable for construction, so that we can support our construction partners with the necessary software and technical information.

Structural

We design steel and reinforced concrete structures with cost efficiency and customer needs in mind. The entire design process - from concept to construction details - is carried out in closed-BIM, in close cooperation with other disciplines. Our aim is to create buildings of outstanding quality, and we accompany the design from the initial idea through to implementation, ensuring professional support for the construction.

Data centre design

We specialise in the complex design of data centres and similar facilities. We create fully coordinated, conflict-free designs with our in-house designers. We have over 80 projects in 10 different countries. Their gross area exceeds 1 000 000 m² and their total IT energy capacity exceeds 750 MW.

As experienced data centre designers, STUDIO IN-EX has developed a rapid inspection of existing data centres, such as end-of-life assessments of critical infrastructure equipment, checking for basic structural problems with IT technology, and general inspections of the building and its environment.

Power design

Our high current design team is made up of experienced electrical engineers with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We design building power and medium voltage systems to industry and international standards in a flexible, cost-effective and forward-looking manner. We are involved in all aspects of the design process, whether it's high power transmission, serving technology in industrial environments or lighting design for decorative spaces in office buildings. Our engineers also have extensive experience in designing critical buildings and data centres.

Low current design

Our team consists of electrical engineers and safety engineers specialised in BIM-based design of low-voltage systems in buildings. Our services include the design of fire alarm, access control, camera systems and structured cabling, but we have also designed parking occupancy alarm systems, (emergency) public address systems and gas alarm systems. We use BIM technology to create detailed, coordinated 3D models that allow us to optimise the design process and prevent problems during construction.

Fire safety design

Development of fire safety concepts for buildings, design of escape routes and fire spreading solutions. Effective fire protection solutions in compliance with regulatory requirements. We have extensive experience in meeting insurance requirements (e.g. FM Global) and design to other international standards.

Sprinkler and fire sprinkler system design

Design of automatic fire extinguishing systems for industrial and logistics, commercial and catering facilities. When designing and creating models of built-in fire extinguishing systems, we strive to produce designs that are not only technically sound, but also in line with industry building conventions.

Building automation design

Our team is made up of young and well-trained engineers who specialise in BIM-based design in addition to building automation systems. Our services include the automation of building management systems (BMS), including HVAC systems, as well as the design of other intelligent building functions. We work closely with the building services, building services electrical and low-voltage disciplines to ensure that automation solutions are harmoniously integrated into the overall building.
