Career Orientation Day in Our Debrecen Office

2026.03.16.

As part of Career Week, final-year students from the structural engineering class of the Péchy Mihály Construction Technical School of the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre took part in a career orientation day.

During this event, students have the opportunity to experience the diverse fields of the construction industry first-hand. From design and manufacturing to construction, they visit various companies and organizations. In what has now become something of a tradition, those students who are particularly interested in engineering design also visited our office.

At the STUDIO IN-EX Debrecen office, we provided insight into the workflow and complexity of BIM-based integrated design, highlighting the fundamental importance of engineering collaboration and encouraging students to understand the construction industry from a broader perspective rather than from a single viewpoint.

During the interactive presentation, our colleagues introduced the different disciplines represented in our work:
Geri Gáll presented building mechanical engineering, Szabi Kiss introduced electrical engineering, Gabi Szadvári spoke about building automation, and Csabi Dorcsin presented the architectural discipline. We also introduced the structure of our company and provided an overview of our daily operations.

After the presentation, the students explored the office with great interest and spoke with our colleagues about the various design software tools used in our projects.

We hope that the visit not only provided them with new knowledge but also inspired them in their future career choices. We truly believe in the next generation of engineers and hope that many of them will choose the design profession — and perhaps one day we may welcome some of them as colleagues in the industry.
